Mike Nash Biography - Hard Stuff Radio
What does it sound like when someone really loves rock & roll? It sounds like Mike Nash. Although Nash's debut solo record is accented with classic roots instruments like acoustic guitars, mandolin and pedal steel, make no mistake... this is a rock & roll record. With an anti-establishment narrative running through the album, Nash's distinct voice rasps its way through melodic yet searing rants on defying the nine to five. The songs are quick, biting, and written for and from the common man. The struggle of pushing against the cage.
Mike got his start playing with local Edmonton rock favourites Deep Fine Grind and Murder City Sparrows. The latter of which kept Nash on the road touring relentlessly back and forth across Canada with stops at a variety of major festivals. Most recently, Mike joined up and coming Gunner Records recording artists Owls By Nature for a year of touring and recording.
Nash has cemented himself firmly in what he loves... Rock & Roll.
